Nanovor Talk #3 - Battle Strats

Hey guys...it's been a while, hasn't it? I decided to stop doing Nanovor Talk...well, almost a year ago now, because it wasn't getting many views and still really hasn't. I have decided to come back to this, however. I have been(As no-life as it sounds, I actually have found the time to do this...) studying Nanovor. Thanks to the people over at Project Nanoscope (if you have an old Nanoscope or two and want to upgrade them to the last version before Nanovor shut down, go there. Definitely worth it. If you aren't too good with computers, I really don't recommend that you go there, unless you just want to try it...be warned though if you don't know what you're doing...it could end bad for your Nanoscope.), I have been learning a lot more about Nanovor. I mean a LOT more. I know some good strats for battles, I understand evolution trees almost completely, I know stats of a lot of  Nanovor...and I want to share this knowledge. I know how hard it can be to find information of Nanovor now-a-days. I don't really know what to share, but I will think of some things. If you want me to share something specifically that you want to know, just let me know in the comments. For now, I'm going to be telling about some battle strategies and what Nanovor are good for what and when.

Nanoscope

One thing that I've learned from battling friends and doing some of the solo adventures of my 3 Nanoscopes is that Magnamods are really well-rounded. If you find the right swarm, it's really hard to lose. I haven't found this swarm with any other "class" yet. I'm not saying that the other "classes" are bad, I'm just saying that if you get a strategy in motion with Mags, it's over. My favorite swarm is Electropod 1.0, Electroshield 1.0, Electrobull 1.0, and Phase Tank 1.0. This swarm is really OP and there is virtually no way to stop it. You don't necessarily need these exact Nanovor for this strategy, as I'm sure that you can use it with the other "classes" now that I'm thinking about it, but I just use these 'Vor because...well, I like the Electro tree and Phase Tank is probably the most OP 'Vor in the game. As long as you have at least 2 'Vor that have a 1 EN using move (To see what EN is go to previous Nanovor Talks) and at least 1 REALLY heavy hitting 'Vor. Of course, with my set-up, I have either a 3 1 EN using and 1 Heavy Hitter or 2 and 2. Electrobull can really be either. So can Electroshield, but he can take more hits, so Electrobull is my first choice to move into the attacking lane if needed.

I call this strategy "Zerg Rush". What you do is let all of the smallest, weakest guys in first to use the 1 EN attacks. If you start falling behind, your third 'Vor, in my case Electrobull, will be pulled into what I call the attacking lane, in which I will use some energy on him to use his strong attack. Finally, on your last 'Vor, you can unleash chaos. I choose Phase Tank because he has an attack that does a MASSIVE 98 damage. There are plenty of 'Vor that come close to him, but none that I know of that pass him. This strategy has worked for me every time that I have used it.
Phase Tank

Another strategy that I use is a Mag exclusive strat. I call it "Big EN".  A Nanovor that you MUST have is Circuit Tank, as this strat revolves around him. You also want to have a 'Vor that can hit for 1 EN and the rest REALLY heavy hitters. This swarm is meant to dent your opponent. You must also have all Mags. On the first turn, it starts out much like Zerg Rush, in which you send in your little (Or big) guy to do a 1 EN attack. Make sure that you swap on the second turn that you use your 1 EN attack (unlike in Zerg Rush) into Circuit Tank. You then use his Big Power-Up move. This, if you have a Mag out, allows you to get an extra EN each turn. On the same turn, you could swap into a huge hitter (although you will only get 3 EN so you can't really do an all-powerful attack) or keep Circuit Tank in and use his 3-EN attack. This stays on the whole game, so just make sure you have all Mags. Thanks, Circuit Tank!

Well, that has been a Nanovor Talk with me, Johnny. If you have suggestions for what I should talk about next time, please leave a comment. I could talk about stats, I could talk about new strats if I come up with them...whatever you guys want. Until next time, this has been Johnny, signing off, and I will see you guys next time! Sorry, force of habit...

  1. Yo, I can't believe there are still people that play this game. Seriously, I used to love this game but didn't get the chance to play it all that often, but hey keep on doing what you do!
